FINANCIALRETURNS:
l? Participate in the preparation of the annualdepartmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitor budget and controllabour costs and expenses with a focus on rate strategy, building initiativesand inventory management.
l? Oversee night audit function and preparation ofdaily financial reports.
l? Develop plans to increase occupancy and ADR throughwalk-ins and upselling at the front desk.
PEOPLE:
l? Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan andassign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members.Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict andimprove team member performance.?
l? Educate and train team members in compliance withfederal, state and local laws and safety regulations. Ensure staff is properlytrained and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties.?
l? Ensure staff is properly trained on systems,security and cash handling procedures, and service and quality standards.
GUESTEXPERIENCE:
l? Ensure front office staff provides guests withprompt service, professional attention and personal recognition.?
l? Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival and maketime to interact effectively with guests. Respond appropriately to guestcomplaints, solicit feedback and build relationships to drive continuousimprovement in guest satisfaction.?
l? Conduct routine inspections of the front office andpublic areas and take immediate actions to correct any deficiencies.
RESPONSIBLEBUSINESS:
l? Check billing instructions and guest credit forcompliance with hotel credit policy and ensure all transactions are handled ina secure manner.
·????????Train team members on PBX procedures and serve as a centralcommunications point during emergency/crisis situations; develop and maintainrelationships with local fire, police, and emergency personnel.
·????????Actively participate in thepromotion of hotel products and publicity
